Alex is available for clinics, master
classes and private lessons
Alex holds a BFA degree cum laude from the City College of New York where he studied under jazz legends John Lewis and Ron Carter. He also holds a Master's degree in Liberal Studies from the College of Staten Island where he received a faculty award for Outstanding Scholarly Achievement.
He studied at the Jazz Cultural Center in New York with Barry Harris, piano privately with Jim McNeely as well as attending the BMI Jazz Composers Workshop in Manhattan and private classical piano studies with Boris Gerazimov.
He studied voice privately with Carlo Menotti, James Carson and with Dr. Daniel McCabe at the Eugen Grabscheid Voice Center in New York. Theater studies include the Atlantic Acting School, HB Studio in New York as well as improv at Chicago City Limits.
Alex has been on the faculty of Arcadia University in Glenside PA, the Staten Island Conservatory of Music, participated in music clinics with Jim Chapin and Danny Gottlieb as well as directing programs at the Cooperative Continuum of Education and The Learning Exchange at the College of Staten Island.
